The Active Beam Guard is powered by Lasermet’s Laser Jailer® Active Laser Guarding Technology and is designed for high-powered collimated laser systems.
If a beam drifts out of alignment and strikes the guard’s ABG sensors, the change is detected by the Lasermet interlock system and the laser is shut off automatically.
How it works:
• The beam passes through the guard’s aperture during normal operation
• If the beam drifts, it hits the ABG sensors on the guard panel
• The ICS-LJM detects the change and signals the ICS-Magellan interlock controller
